63rd Annual Havre de Grace Art Show Application

Presented by ArtUnion to benefit Concord Point Lighthouse and various cultural art projects.

Applications Professionally Juried and open to all Artists & Craftsmen Original Work

SHOW DATE: Saturday, October 17 & Sunday, October 18  2026 (RAIN OR SHINE)

LOCATION: Tydings Memorial Park and Concord Point Park, Havre de Grace, MD 21078

TIME: 10 am- 5 pm show hours (must be fully set up by 9:00 am)

AWARDS: Monetary and/or Ribbon Awards. Must be cashed within 30 days or forfeited.

Application Fees and Deadlines:

Rates for General Art Exhibitor Space
Regular Rate – Until June 6, 2026 – $185 per 10’x10′ space
Rate Increase – June 7 – September 30, 2026 – $235 per 10’x10′ space

College Art Major (verified) – $60 per 10’x10′ space
College Art Major must upload transcripts (file 5)

Student 18 and under (verified) – Free per 10’x10′ space
Student 18 and under must upload birth certificate (file 5)

Space size: 10’x10’ multiple spaces available charged per space

Accepted Applications: Will be notified by email within 30 days of receipt with further instructions

Rejected Applications: Will be notified by email within 30 days of receipt and application fee (less than $25 administration fee) will be returned by check via U.S. Postal Service.

REFUNDS: This is a rain or shine event and the fee is non refundable. Refunds will only be issued if the show cancels for any reason, a check in the amount of your registration fee less a $25.00 handling fee will be issued within 30 DAYS AFTER OCTOBER 18, 2026

SHOW RULES: Open to all artists and craftsmen. ORIGINAL WORK ONLY OR LIMITED EDITIONS PRODUCED FROM THESE ORIGINALS IN ANY MEDIA BY THE EXHIBITOR. NO WHOLESALE OR RESALE ALLOWED. VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION. SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES WILL APPLY IF MANDATED BY THE STATE.

SALES TAX: No commission will be levied – State Sales Tax is applicable and the responsibility of the exhibitor. Contact Maryland Retail Sales Tax Office for information on temporary permit.

Setup: Friday, October 16 from noon to 5 pm and Saturday, October 18 from 6 to 9 am. Setup must be completed by 9 am Saturday.
Canopies are to be weighted, not staked due to the park irrigation system.

Space numbers available at check-in beginning Friday, October 16th at noon.

Display materials not supplied.

Vehicles will not be allowed on park grounds.

No dismantling prior to 5pm Saturday. Loading and unloading will be the exhibitor’s responsibility.

Park Security available Friday/Saturday night. Materials and goods left at an exhibitor’s own risk.

~No vans, trucks or cars will NOT be permitted on park grounds.
~No alcoholic beverages permitted.
~No pets allowed.
~No staking of tents. Please use weights only.

NO GUARANTEE ON LOCATION OF REQUESTED EXHIBITOR SPACE. SHOW LAYOUT MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

I agree to display and sell items I have made that are originals or limited editions produced from these originals. I hereby agree, ArtUnion, Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse, the City of Havre de Grace, and the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation are not responsible for personal injuries, loss or damage to myself or any property. I will agree to truthfully answer COVID questions and have temperature check prior to admittance to set up for show. If accepted, my signature on the application accepts all of the above rules and authorizes use of my photos and/or slides for promotional use unless otherwise stated.
VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION.

RULES:
Please read all rules attached and agree.

Exhibitors must occupy their own space and respect the space which belongs to others. You may purchase more than one space (10 x 10) at $185.00 each. No charge for students 18 and under (eligible for student award), must verify age by including a copy of their birth certificate. College Art Majors fee is $60.00 with a copy of transcripts.

CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF APPLICATION RECEIPT; THOSE NOT ACCEPTED WILL HAVE APPLICATION FEE LESS $25.00 HANDLING FEE RETURNED VIA U.S. MAIL.
